My name is Michelle Smith-Venter, I am an American Certified Hand Therapist (CHT), since 2003, qualified to treat injuries and conditions that affect the hand and upper extremity. I lived and worked in the USA for 11 years, where I attained my CHT Credential. I returned to South Africa, Cape Town and worked in private practise settings for a period, prior to establishing my own practise. Since then, I work closely with a reputable surgeon on treating a variety of hand and upper limb conditions.
Since each individual and each condition is unique to that particular person, a treatment plan is discussed and developed along with the patient. This then ensures patient cooperation and a treatment plan that is cost effective and attainable.
